The Pups

This page is dedicated to our furry children :) Before Eric and I got together, I had my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Marlee), since my second semester at LSU. He had his yellow lab (Manny) for almost two years. They have gotten us through the hardest of times, and have been our babies since we each got them. :) It was so fitting to me that the man I was meant to marry would be as big of a dog lover as I am! We felt like two doggy parents joining our little families together! Lol! Now that both pups have lived together for a while and have adjusted to one another, they couldn't be happier. It took Marlee, aka "Mars" :) a little while to get used to having another dog in the spotlight, especially one so much bigger than her! Manny was fine with Mars from the get go, and was constantly trying to get her to play with him, but usually to no avail! Mars finally gave in and decided to have some fun and play with her doggy brother :) Manny keeps her young and healthy. So now I will leave you with some pics of our cute little fur children!

First up, we have Mars. She turned 5 years old on 12/12/12, and is spoiled rotten. She loves to lay around, and snuggle :) She also HATES seeing animals on tv...and will bark at them as if they can hear her. Mars also loves her some cheese. :)

Yes, she thinks MY pillow is, in fact, HER pillow. :) Sometimes I just let her win ;)

and...After seeing this next picture, it's safe to say that you will agree she is the CUTEST dog ever!

So, for a while, It was just me and little Mars making it through life, catchin' some sun, cuddilng, etc...

until.......we found Eric and Manny :)))

Who would've known that these two studs would soon become our everything?

Manny is an amazing pup! He turned two years old this past Christmas on 12/25/12, and is the spunkiest pup around. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his dad, as you can see here:

He is also a huge cuddle bug, and happens to think he is the size of a yorkie...exhibit A:

and exhibit B...(but seriously, how adorable is this??)

Our two separate families have become one, and our furry friends were even present when Eric proposed :) Of course Eric made sure they were there, because he's the best ever, and because we wouldn't want it any other way. :)

So now we enjoy our babies and soak up all the love they have to give us! 

and as if you had to ask, yes...these two furry things sleep in our bed with us every night! Did I mention that it's only a full size? How crazy are we? :)
